Take Action! - Protect Your Benefits

Listed below is some information about the anti-worker legislation that has been introduced.  We need to get our concerns printed in all the newspapers across the State.  Simply click on the links and insert your zip code to get another link to your local newspapers.  There is a templete letter already prepared or you can write your own.  It will only take a few minutes of your time and it could save you thousands of dollars if we can stop these bills from being passed.   You can click on the other link to see the actual bills that we are concerned about or you can visit our website at www.mpffu.org

Dear Terrence,

Take action now!

Our state legislators are on the wrong path for Michigan.  Write in to your local newspaper and ask that our state leaders KEEP THEIR PROMISE.

As of now, there have been 15 anti-labor bills introduced into the House and Senate. The new state legislature is barely a week and a half old, yet already they are taking advantage. These bills do nothing to help the working people of Michigan – they are simply the same old partisan games that will get us nowhere.
Last week, we had a great response from everyone who took action from our e-mail regarding Right-to-Work legislation being introduced. Altogether, we contacted 108 state legislators and let them know how divisive and destructive Right-to-Work laws would be for Michigan.
Today, I ask that you write in to your local newspaper and advocate that we are on the wrong path to recovery. Governor Snyder stated his primary focus will be on jobs, but the legislation introduced speaks a different story.
Be heard - send a letter-to-the-editor to your local newspaper
