  • RV fire in Livonia damages two homes
    Posted On: Jul 27, 2017

A fire damaged two homes and a recreational vehicle early Thursday morning in the 20000 block of Angling.

Fire Marshal Keith Bo of the Livonia Fire Department said the blaze began at about 3:30 a.m. Thursday in an RV in the driveway of one of the homes, located at the intersection of Angling and Fargo. He said the blaze consumed the RV, destroying it completely, and spread to the two homes it was parked in between.

"I believe the fire originated in the RV and spread to the two houses," Bo said.

Both homes had fire damage in attic, as well as smoke and water damage throughout the home.

No injuries were reported, Bo said.

The cause of the fire was undetermined and was battled quickly by firefighters.

"I couldn't find anything that pointed to be an accelerant," he said. "Our fire guys made a quick, aggressive attack.

    The fire remains under investigation.

Livonia police said Wednesday morning they were not treating the fire as suspicious.
